Threaded downpipe

Hi
i want to put a 4" exhaust on my 2001 psd crew cab. Does anyone know if there is a system that has the down pipe already tapped for a exhaust temp. Gage pin? I want to add gages as i install the exhaust.
Thanks
citro

exhaust temp probe in the downpipe is horrificly innaccurate, testing has shown in excess of 500 degree differences between downpipe and manifold temps. its just as easy to put the probe in your turbo up-pipe, no tapping required, uses this style clamp-

You definitely want it mounted before the turbo, the turbo is what gets damaged by high temps, thats why you need to be checking pre-turbo temps. There are a couple of different styles of probes and the gauge instructions do a good job of suggesting where to place them.
