ever since the swap i cant seem to keep her at the right temp

Did you put the new thermostat in upside down ?

Swapped radiators? As long as everything is right (practically just the thermostat), make sure you don't have any air in your system.

If you swapped radiators because of an overheating problem, the problem could be elsewhere, like bad water pump, etc.

Also use a shroud that covers about half of the fan

well i have a 302 in the ranger now, ever since iv bought a custom rad (4 core) ive never been able to keep that motor cool even with a flex fan and a ele. fan both pull fans thanks for the thoughts

Can you provide some more details? Like: Newly rebuilt 302 you installed? Pulled out of a different car and straight to the ranger? Running good prior? Overheating prior to new radiator? Anything you can think of. Not being a smart a$$. I know these guys on here can help you they just need all of the info. Also, hopefully this will give you a little boost and keep you on the front page for a bit.
