i found a 05 F350 Lariat crew cab long bed. 54k miles, chip, exhaust. 8 inch Fabtech (4 link w/coils and dirt logic res. in rear) 37 in Toyo MTR, 20" Welds, Amp steps, bio diesel conversion,
asking price is $28,588. my question is, is this a good deal and is there anything i should look for when looking for any problems?
at 29K$ ur getting pretty close to the price of a new stock truck...
depends on if ur happy paying for all the added gadgets on the used truck or would rather start witha fresh truck and do the extra urself over time...at additional cost down the road..
at that price i'd rather go new and add stuff later...
I would run fast to the nearest dealer and buy new with warranty. That truck could very well be a rolling nightmare and it is way over priced for the miles and year. Way to many mods for my taste. And its probably a smoker and the 6.0s aren't to reliable if u read the posters here at all. Some dealers are selling half off of list so u need to shop. Cost nothing to look.

I don't know what the cost or value of the mods are, but if the truck were stock it is overpriced as far I'm concerned. For me, the mods actually reduce the value of the truck because it may have been rode hard and put up wet too many times. At 28K, you're not too far off what you could get a brand new truck for. As suggested above, buy new and add stuff later if you want.
I would definitely keep looking.......this truck is way over priced. Lots of good deals right now on Super Duties. When buying used, look for a truck that is stock or close to it, then do the mods you want yourself.
I'm with the others, keep looking. That is priced pretty high especially considering it probably won't have a warranty on it.
Ford says no more than 5% bio or they can deny your warranty. I'm assuming if it has the biodiesel conversion kit on it, they probably ran 100% bio or around there so Ford could definitely deny any warranty claims.
