which rear axle do we have in our trucks?

you will have to look on your VIN tag and see what your axle code is

It could be, unless he has an F250 and then he has a TTB Dana 50.

79 was the last year for the D60 in the F series, the vans used it up until at least 03 and may still use it.

Some of the SD's use Dana 80's.

And I can't help it Rodney, but it's not Sterling. It's Visteon, Sterling is just the location of the plant.

The 10.25" axles that come out of the Ford axle plant in Sterling Heights Mi. were called "sterling axles" long before Ford sold the plant to Visteon in 99.

What year? Or what model? 450 and bigger maybe.

My 97 CC DRW had a Sterling.

Not true in all cases. Some duallies had dana's up into the mid 90's but some had the sterling.
My '95 dually had a sterling in it.
