I posted about this in the general auto section but i figured this was the place to share it, this weekend im going to look at a freind of my dads 1959 Ford Custom 300 that he wants to sell me. He claims that it runs and just needs some minor bodywork, a radiator and the brakes bled to make it roadworthy. I looked at it about a month ago but it was snowing pretty good out and i didn't spend much time checkin it out. This time im bringing up some tools, and a compression tester to check out the motor cause the rest of the car is pretty straight and the motor is my biggest concern because i am on a budget! Ill post some pictures tomorrow! Hopefully all goes well and ill have my hands on a neat project!
It was actually a car, and it turned out that the owner wasn't as familiar with the state of his car. Unfourtunately it was rusted terribly, lots of frame rot and I dont have the skills or the time to tackle that kind of a project. But on to the next prospect on monday, im gonna check out a '65 ranchero and see if its worth pickin up.
