When to tow?

When to tow?

I am sure it tells you in the owners manual but I would like some opinions on how soon can you with a new truck. I only have 750 miles on my 09 S/C 4X4 Lariat but I need to tow a old Mustang on a trailer about 20 miles. Is it to soon to tow?

Go for it - manual says 500 miles, varying speeds. I had barely 300 on my '05 before I hooked onto a 10K fifth wheel for 200 miles. I just took it easy, no problems. However, I change the oil at 1000 miles on a new vehicle, and again at 3000, towing or not. After that, manufacturers recommended intervals.

Would worry more about tying the mustang down good and tight, than any damage to your ford.TOW AWAY!!!!!!!!
