The actual dash stampings change themselves in the following.
61 to 63 the dash stampings for custom cabs have a lower trim for the dash pad if so ordered. The 64 is in a higher location, about 3/4" and the 61 to 64 dash incorporates the attachments and reveal for the solid box and shaft. This also follows for the 65 F100 and 65 66 F250 4x4s and all F350 2 wheel drives but these will have the higher trims for the 65 66 dash pad. These also have a pull vent on the drivers side and the hole not punched on the passenger side as the vent is a triangular vent the same as a 2 wheel drive.
The 65 66 dashes are stamped to accept the divorced shaft column. And the holes for the pulls are not punched. Also 65 up in all units will have an integral speaker grill stamping that the earlier units do not have.
I was just gonna ask about the dash speaker. I've seen trucks where they have a raised grill on top of the dash, was wondering when that was, mine is just stamped out of the dash.
