No, not if it originally had a cat. E-check includes a visual inspection for presence of a catalytic converter. If it has been removed, you fail regardless of actual tailpipe emissions.
I guess what I really wanted to know was if this year bronco could have come without a cat. It did not say "unleaded only" anywhere it usually does. Thanks again
I believe after 74 anything under 3/4 ton had to have cats. Except the 74-79 F-150's. But I do not know what the broncos rating is. But I would venture to say that it originally had cats under it.

I have a '78 bronco that did'nt come with cats. I used to have to take the bronco through emissions, and they would look under it with a mirror to see if it had cats. Every time, i told them it did'nt come with them, they would get there little book out and look up my truck and " it did'nt come with them ". Man, that used to aggreivate me. Any way good luck, i hope you buy it, i sure love mine. Fixing to put a lift under it. Have a good one. Rob
