f150 aode no overdrive need help

It could be a couple of things. Off the top of my head, you could have a problem in the valve body or a problem with the overdrive servo. On the outside realm of possibility it could be a problem with the overdrive band, but I doub't that.
There may be more, but I hung that hat up for the day and am sitting on the couch at home. LOL

If the trans is in the F350 you have listed in your profile, you may want to post this to the transmission, or Superduty forum. If not, post your trans model, from the door tag, and tell us how much towing you do...

my 06 screw did the same thing...was caused by a short in the trans enternal wiring harness which cause a build up of pressure in the od servo blowing the gaskets and orings. At least that is how it was explained to me. Mine was under warranty. Dealer said it would have cost around $750 if I was paying to fix.
