Another Jag IFS Question

OK im looking for relatively cheap way to put a new front end under my 53 Truck. I went to the U-Pull yard today on my lunch break and looked at a
Aerostar and a 86 Jag (i didnt really think they would have a jag there but they did). Ive read a bunch on this forum about putting the jag front under the 48-52 Frames but i didnt see much about them under the 53-56's? As ive read the frame is a couple inches wider on the 53-56 trucks. Is this a problem? anyone have photos of it on a 53-56?
next question how about brake booster and master cylinders, what the best way to go? on frame or firewall?

thanks in advance
Mike

Go to the website below. It is Holmsey's and is a complete documentation of his build on a 55, same frame as yours. When you look at it you will see that he notched the frame for the fit. He has indicated that if doing it again he would probably notch the Jag cross member instead. An 86 Jag XJ would be the right one. Did you ask price?
