Got money and list of parts...

Pull that trigger.

It is an upgrade but can be expensive.
It will be one of my next upgrades along with some style of bigger HPOP.

that is my biggest problem, a tw chip is calling very loudly, because I can get a chip burned for some stage 1s a few other little trickets for the price of a fuel system that will not affect the butt-in-seat-o-meter, but I still have to fix my fuel leak!

edit: I have thought able pulling everything out the valley, replacing all the o rings and hoses and the pump, but I just don't want to be chasing leaks again in 2 years

FWIW. You can replace the fuel system and be done with it. Period.

Then you still have a path forward. instead you fix it now then do the mods and then later you come back to the fuel system and put on electric. Kinda lika handling it twice.

Definitely worth it. If I were to ever get another OBS it would be one of the first mods I would do besides the intake and downpipe. Here's a writeup I did when I did the conversion.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...onversion.html

The hardest part to the whole thing was getting the stainless steel fuel lines bent correctly to fit. Since I had no way to do those myself I had to make a few trips to the shop to have them bent a little more each time until they fit. I know many people who do this conversion use the existing banjo and bolt but those seem to develop leaks over time.

TRIGGER PULLED!!
Well you guys have talked me into it!! I am going to start ordering parts this weekend and begin fabbing brackets and what-nots, and I plan on tearing it down after the ETAPS meeting on the 28th, so wish me luck and I know there are several exellent write-ups to look at and I will take some pics and document how it goes, and for those who have questions about the conversion here are some links that I used as well as Joe D's

Electric fuel system conversion - Powerstroke Nation

Tims I/C Page example
the fuel system stuff is at the bottom of the I/C page
