hublocks for a 2000 Range

Question, How can I tell if my 2000 Range has a live axle setup ?

The 2000 ranger still had the pulse vacume hubs. In 01 they went to the direct engagment system if thats what your asking. AVM is the only ones that make manual lock out hubs that will work on the pulse vacume system. You can get them at tellico off road. I don't know if it was a mid year change in 2000.

Actually Wendell, it was a mid-year (2000) switch so it's possible a '00 Ranger could have a live front axle setup.

A PVH hublock has a black plastic shell and looks like this:

Thanks for the heads up Rockledge, these are good things to know when trying to help others. I was thinking it might of been a mid year change, but wasn't sure.
