Unhappy charging problems

i have a 70 f250 camper special. i have replaced the alternator, battery and voltage regulator. it is still not charging. i have checked the wiring and its all good. i have read on here something about the gauge in the dash causing some troubles.from what i can tell if the gauge in the dash is bad with would cause it to stay open then it will not charge. when i have it running the gauge is in the middle then when i turn lights on or fan it moves twords the charge side. i would appreciate any help i can get. thanks.

If the gauge is moving towards the charge side then there is current flowing. Does the needle pulse or is it steady? With the lights on what happens to the gauge when you raise the rpms? Does it stay steady or does it pulse?

Make sure the voltage regulator has good ground to the body. I have had this cause the problem. How do you know it is not charging. The guage in mine doesn't show a charge either but it is charging. With the engine running, measure the battery voltage. It should be above 13 volts.

battery voltage is 12.13 while running. the voltage regulator is brand new.the needle is steady it does not pulse. i was wondering if becouse its a camper special it has another box on the right side fire wall. the battery wire from the alternator runs to it. and there is 25 volts going to it and only 10.5 coming out of it. im not sure what this box does but im thinkin it could be my problem. can anyone help me with what it is and does.

May be an isolator so you could charge a battery in the camper and the one in the truck off of one alternator. If the gauge is steady then the battery is putting out a "charge". I would look into that box more or see about bypassing it. The 25 volts going in is the alternator on full blast because it is not seeing the battery voltage come up. I would not think that is good on it.
