Went out to start my truck (in signature) and tried to push the clutch in but it didnt wanna go so of coarse I pushed harder and somethin broke. I didnt have time to really check it out but I got down and looked at it and the rod that goes into the fire wall from the lever was just hangin but what must be the clutch saftey switch. I tried to put it back in place but it just fell out again. I was talking to my buddy and he thinks I have to relpace the whole hydrolic cylinder, is that what I'm lookin at? I really dont know nothin about hydrolic clutches. Thanks for any help!
My buddy had this happen and he had to replace the clutch master cylinder. what happened is your clutch master seized thats why the shaft broke. Just replace your clutch master cylinder and that will fix the problem. when you bleed the clutch I found that if you pull the slave cylinder and the line that connects the master and slave then connect the line to the new master and the slave, then fill the fluid reservoir you can slowly push the rod in and out on the slave while holding the master above it the air bubbles will rise up and out of the reservoir and it will work great just keep the fluid up. then put the whole assembly in without disconnecting the line from either the slave or the master. If you leave the fluid level down just a little it will help when you put the slave cylinder back in place. then once you get everything back in top off the fluid and see how it works. hope this helps.
