Thats not what I wanted to hear. So what are you saying the cruise control switch is going out?

Not necessarily. Any switch, including the brake pedal position switch, throttle, e-brake, etc, and the switch may not be bad, just dirty and sticking. Once you find out which part is bad, we can check to see if it just needs to be cleaned.
