Belt Problems
I have a 99 f-250 with the 7.3. For the past month or two its been having issues with the serp. belt. I think the bearings on the ac compressor might be shot, is there a good place to get the bearings or a rebuild kit?

cool, I found the tensoner and idler pulleys were bad so I am replacing them and will see what happens. The ac seems to spin fine. I think the clutch might have been engaged last time I checked it.

For a few months the serp belt has been squeeking and shreading in half. I've put two belts on. The other day it got really bad, the belt came apart and was so violent the top radiator hose came off and it even pulled the dipstick out of the tube a little! I found the tensoner pulleys were starting to seize up and am going to replace them tomrrow.
