Man that would have been one hell of a ride!
I belong to this other forum where guys were talking about some of the not so bright things they have done over the years. Even the most experienced dump truck drivers said they have forgot the gate either opened or closed a few times! They all laugh about it now, but say it wasnt funny at the time it happened.

Occasionally I`ve forgotten to trip the end gate though I`m very fussy on only dumping on level ground, no dumping on any slopes for me!

I havent had to dump on much of a slope so far either. Just a few little ones. Dumped in one kinda soft old swampy area, that was kinda interesting!

If I can`t find a reasonably level spot I won`t dump, for one thing it`s too hard on the hoist cylinder and the seals with too much of a side lean. Usually no one expects you to risk your equipment........
