c4 return cooler line question
I rebuilt my c4 early last year, and then had to put truck in storage for a year. I had taped up the cooler line holes to keep out trash...bugs...but over the course of the year the tape fell out of the return line hole and some type of insect clogged up the hole with dirt and larva. I cleaned out with a nail end and then vaccumed with the shop vac. I can't recall but aren't there little screens inside the transmission that filter these lines? I'm hoping I got all the debris out and will have no problems. Should I be worried about this?

Disconnect the cooler lines where they physically enter the transmission, and at the cooler. Pretty much use something like a can of brake clean, and compressed air and flush the lines out. Hit it with the compressed air a few times to ensure the lines are clean and dry. Then hook 'em back up.
