Pulling out the 460
Distributer gear busted and broke a couple theeth on my new cam ( only 2 hrs. on it) not taking any more chances so i am pulling the whole eng. to clean out debris and change the oil pump. Does any one know if the stock aluminum intake will hold the wieght of the engine using a carb mount lifting plate? or should i go to the head bolts? there is no lifting eyelets on the engine. them quarter inch bolt holes don't look that strong. !988 ford f-250 6 inch lift. Oh yeah i am leaving the trans. in .All unbolted and ready to lift in the morning.Any experince would be greatly appreciated...
