Tranny help
Saw that most of the diesel was caught by the filter.
Put in new oil and oil pressure gauge returned to normal at idle.
What kind of wear and tear will this cause my engine?
Can I continue to drive it until I can get to it or not?
Being a student I don't have time to break it all down.
Is it hard to get into the VCs?
How long does it take to change injectors?
What kind of costs are we talking?

If you have basic mechanic skills and hand tools you can get it done in a few hours. Oh! and patience too. Your 1st time, figure the better part of a day.
I can only guess at the costs, 8 x $12 for the o ring kit...about a hundred bucks.
If you pay some else to do it it's going to hurt...big time
Are there any steps on this process and what I am looking for?
I would like to read through this before I do it.
Kinda get all the tools I need together. I have basic tools. Just no torque wrench anymore. I do have a small air compressor for blowing stuff out of the way and such but it has been a while since I have tackled something like this job.
I did rebuild a gas motor once. But that was nine years ago in high school.

I would DIY the inj's.
Maybe just send them to Jim Rose.
You could have bigger issues from the WVO system.
Then deal with the trans.
WVO systems seem to be a pay for it later if not careful.

Madvan, who is Jim Rose? I take it he could look over the injectors.
On the WVO i take every step possible and have a lot of friends of mine who have the same setup as me and no problems. But we will se I guess. Thanks for the help.

On the WVO thing its more about the oil than the system itself.
Seen some high acids from cleaning the units the oil came out of.

A friend of mine said I would need to fix the o-rings or whatever is wrong with injectors, then change the oil, run for 500 miles, then change oil again.
this sound correct?
