i took it to a shop and they told me cly4misfire,and i needed wires and plugs. so got them and put them on and still have same code. so they said try a new coil. i did and still the same thing. the truck seems to run okay until i get about 3000rpms at idle then it seens to miss a lot. dont think i ever had it that high of rpms before so dont know if that is normal or not. but my light is still on.
it is a 2003 ranger with a 3.0l ,4wheel drive edge.
i have checked firing order several times found several different firing orders.

i used the first one which was the order it was in before i did anything.
does anyone have any ideas what i am missing to get the cel off.

disconnecting the battery did the trick thank you antony 25 for all your help.i learned something today so guest it was not a bad day after all. thank you again
