HELP I have a 03 350, i live on ohio so it has been cold that last several week, I did plug the truck in,,,it did start rgith up, but didn't sound good. I started driving it, it has no power, it would slowly cath up to speed, but that was 60 and that was it, all the sudden with no light coming on, the truck started again loosing power. From 60 to 20 slowly until we stop, the engine went off and now it won't start, I changed the fuel filters upper and lower and also put 911 in the engine to help take the water out about a week again,,,The computer said that the fuel pump was alright, but it acts like its not getting fuel. help
welcome to FTE
open the drain valve and turn the key on and see if the fuel flows out the drain pipe under the truck..if so let it flow so it will suck in some 911..see if it sprays out fast or slow..should be kind of fast..55 PSI.if its slow..let the 911 do its job and keep letting it flow..the flow will pick up as the 911 goes though the line...if the psi is there..close valve..cycle key 2 or 3 times for about 30 seconds a shot..then try to start her up...if she starts..let her run a while..she may skip and spudder for a bit..its just air..50 mile ride will clear that up..find a new filter and thow it in ASAP..
if you think you have good fuel PSI and truck still wont fire..id look at the CPS..
