Another Mid. TN G2G

torkum and I were talking about another meeting for all us in Mid TN and he wanted me to throw it out here for y'all.

Day: Feb 15 Sunday
Time: 5:00 or 5:30 P.M.(Depending on what majority is able to do)
Place: Caney Fork Fish Camp in Nashville
Website: :: Caney Fork Fish Camp | Nashville, TN Unique Southern Dining ::

All those interested and able to go post up so I can get a head count. Hopefully there won't be a bunch of "crap" landing on my plate to keep me from going to this one.

Was able to met Torkum (Tim) face to face at the Stone Rivers swap; sounds like a good ideal, when he mention it to me;
Truthfully; I would like to see a quarterly meet & greet; its a balancing act for me; to do GTG monthly.
This isn't meant to stop our Region chances to meet each month. Just tough on me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mitch it was great to meet you in person [ we will have to tell everyone how it happened at the swap meet later].

Thank you for your opinion on the meets. The frequency of how often was a discussion that Tex and I had. We talked about a monthly meeting would offer the chance to grow our local chapter so even if you couldn't make it one month you could catch the next. We also talked about every month around the same time would help with attendance so people could plan ahead to attend knowing that we get together on the 3rd weekend of the month. The exception to this would be like the up coming meet at JD, that would be the March meet.
Maybe these things would be a good topic of conversation at the next meet?

Well I got one guy over at the powerstroke.org group says that he is interested but has to talk to the ole ball and chain first(go figure). Anybody have any other ford sites with mid. tn groups that could try to spur this on bigger?

Lariat could you PM me the particulars to that March one. As long as there isn't a horse show that weekend(getting to the start of main horse show season in March) I should be able to go. Lived here almost 15 yrs now and I have yet to be down to JD. Driven by the sign several hundred times, just never went to it.

The reason I posted the link was to show the trucks for anybody who might know them and the way I found out who was active was to click on their name and go under statistics for latest post dates.

Tim; yeah; that was pretty cool about how we met!!!!

I agree with having a standard date each month; as I mention in prior post; personnally hard to make every month; but don't want to cause any problems.
Just getting to know everyone face to face is a good thing to do.
Keep working on meets & greets, they'll all show sooner or later.

Mitch

Anybody care on rather it's 5 or 5:30 or should I just split the difference and say 5:15? There is one guy that says he would be there, another that said he would be there as long as he doesn't have to work shift that day(firefighter), so that brings up 3 people that have shown interest in powerstroke.org group and hopefully, I'll be able to nail that down for sure by the end of this weekend since the meet is next weekend.
