hey guys, lets kick around some Ideas for some gtgs and do some thinking as to what we can do to bring this stretched out state chapter together. At one time we kicked around the Idea of breaking the state up into sub chapters or regions, this is a thought but it's going to require work on all of our parts. we've also tried to keep our chapter meets centrally located but it's still a long drive for all our beach bums and hillbillies . Anyway lets here some of you guys thoughts on this see what we as a chapter can do. I'm willing as the new future chapter leader to travel wherever I need to to get this thing off the ground.
I think the sub chapter idea is a good one considering the size of the state. Each can do their own thing as far as GTG's go which obviously would be open to all and then maybe 1 or 2 state wide things every year which would rotate between the sub chapters.
I'm with Rick.....ya can't expect to get any participation from people when we're sooo spread out, until you get a larger # of members.....the gtg's will be a small group until then.

Yeah I've still got it....as far as I can tell it's a keeper!! I don't believe I had anything done to it the last time we seen each other, except maybe the 4" MBRP turbo back kit.
I just got done installing an AFE intake,10k mod,and doing the fuel pressure mod. WOW what a difference,it now runs like it ought to!!!

I guess you see from my sig what kind of mess I've got into
I'd like to participate in the GTG's! I've been a member of FTE for almost a year but only recently became aware of the "local" forum. I'm here in Huntersville, which is 10 miles north of Charlotte.

Cool deal, if you're intrested in the Pinks gtg go ahead and sign the list in that thread so we can get an accurate #. Welcome to the NC chapter.
I'm in for some events. Not sure what type of trucks most of you are driving and you are really up to but I wouldn't mind getting together whenver I'm around (not much in the next couple years).
56 F-100 and 97 F-250 Powerstroke.
Is there any central theme (besides ford trucks) to the group? Do you guys do any philanthropic events, big GTG's, HAMON's (help a member out month), etc?
