At this point I have a 50/50 chance of being there (and yes, I'm the surprise guest).
I have a friend in Raleigh supposively bringing up the engine for my crewcab (finally!), and tentively he's planning on next weekend. If that's not the case, I'll be there, likely with my son. At least for a while, depending on his attention span.
If the engine does arrive, I'll have to find my big turbos. I know there around here somewhere but apparently not in plain view. All I found were the itty bitty ones.
Yes, one in the same. The friend transporting it owns the Pantera engine I have sitting in the driveway, so basically he's hauling mine up for me and picking this one up and heading back.
He just confirmed for the next weekend, so I should be good to go for our FTE-NJ shindig if I don't have any installs that weekend (which I don't at the moment and trying to keep it that way).
The engine is exciting... 7.350:1 c/r, 504 cubes, ready for turbocharging. Of course I ordered this beast when gas was way cheaper than it is now... but oh well, right? I also have to dump over the BBF ZF 5-sp that's in the driveway as I just noticed the plastic covering it is torn to shreds so it probably injested water

You seemed to have all the necessities plus I'll will bring some more ice on Saturday, chairs for my crew and any additional ones I find laying around. I'll pickup a case of ice tea and some hot wings for the grill and a baked bean dish.
I'm checking a few things out, hopefully I'll be able to stop by. If I don't put it on a post it and stick it to my forehead I forget what I'm supposed to do. It took me awhile to figure out why my wife was sticking post it's on her forehead when we went to bed.
I need a load of stuff so coming to the swap may be good. Hopefully I'll have some money by Saturday.
