I was at our dealer yesterday and they have like 2 Crew cabs and 2 regular cabs thats it. When I bought mine before Christmas they had about 9 of them and they were different ones then they have there now. I guess they did move them with the employee pricing. It looked like they mostly have the new 150's.

We have two Ford dealers here in Kamloops, both are hurting bad.
They are selling mostly midline and economy cars, and superduty trucks.
The people buying appear to either need a new car thats not too pricey to buy, and to operate, or they need a work truck.
They said SUV, expensive cars, and F150 sales are all down a lot.

There is still banks out there willing to give credit in those circumstances different then said. This is from experience just in December. I was surprised myself that the loan went through since we were upside down in our trade and that got added on to the new purchase price. We had a nice Z71 suburban but the dealer wasnt anxious for that trade so therefore the low trade numbers left us a huge negative balance on the trade. Im thinking some of the banks want peoples business as well in these hard times.

All true, combined with the fact that the KTY Truck plant has been down since Xmas.

If you are looking for financing look to your local credit unions. They seemed to have weathered this first financial storm a little better and are looking to loan money, plus if you are buying a GM or Chrysler product they are giving up to another 1000.00 off. Wish Ford would have done the same since I financed my new 08 F350 dually through my credit union at 6.49 for 72 months just this friday.
