Good morning Pat. Looks like a slow weekend in wyoming. It was 45 on saturday and 55 yesterday so I spent most of my weekend outside working in the yard and doing some wood working projects. Almost got my bed sanded down for a new finish. After closer inspection, the bed is made of ash and is hard as a rock which makes sanding not so enjoyable.
Got started on my license plate change out this morning. Two down, 82 to go.
Morning Miles. Is this a head board for a bed your talking about? Sounds like your in for a thrilling day, still messing with those license plates, I see!!LOL!
Good morning Miles, Pat, and all others near and far. Looks like another nice but cloudy day today. I had to work all weekend but today think I may need to bring in another load of firewood. For some reason I keep getting that funny fealing things are still apt to get tough yet. And besides all that it is still better than foragging in a snow drift for some boards or other odd pieces that can burn.
Hi and bye guys have to go to a meeting today at least they will feed me lunch. LOL!!! Miles sorry to hear about the license plates, hope you will be finished with them soon. Orin have fun getting fire wood in. LOL!!!

Pat, the whole bed is made of Ash. The headboard, the side rails and the footboard. Weighs about 150 pounds when it is assembled. I helped my step-dad make it about 10 years ago for my sister. It has sat in storage for the past 5 years so it is a little rough.
I have an appointment with the maintenance crew to change plates at 9:30. Hope we can get 30 done today.

Good morning Orin. I am getting the same feeling as you. I think the weather is playing tricks on us and we are still due for some heavy snow in march and april. I chopped a few sticks yesterday in anticipation.

If I have the choice of sitting in my easy chair bundled up in my winter gear looking like a giant frozen popcicle or getting more wood when the getting is good.................I believe I shall go cut some wood today. Have fun at your meeting.
Morning Orin, Michelle. I'd be perfectly happy to see the snow gone for another year, but I'm with you guys, I'm sure mother nature hasn't had all her fun with us yet.
