Rain clearing here in Ridgefield.
I went to Stamford today and then went to my "auxiliary" garage in Trumball/Monroe.
Put a new starter in my truck (bendix was going) and welded up a cutting table for the plasma cutter.
Back in Ridgefield I'm making dinner for 4 11-13 year old girls.
OY! I think I'm going to need a drink.

I was down in Stamford today, even stopped by J&D's for lunch.

 

You were less than a mile from the power station, I'm between West Ave. and the railroad tracks.

I know EXACTLY where you are.
I was closer when checking my P.O. box at West Ave and Warsaw Pl.

Do you see where Orchard makes a sharp right hand bend at the top of the map?

Well, everyone, I feel like crap.

Got back from a school retreat at 3:30 or so. It was in Pittsfield, MA.

I think I'm getting a cold and I only got 2 hours of sleep last night.

 

Eh, you're young, if you were partying you would manage better.

This is a good work-up for when you become a Dad.

Sorry to hear about your dog. I have a Boxer that is going to be 6 this year and with my 2 boys that just love that dog, i could not think of how hard it would be if we lost him. So i could only think how bad you feel. You have to think whats best for the animal at there time in need. He would be much better not in pain. Its a tought thing to lose a loved one.

Should have met you for coffee. But I left my laptop up here in Ridgefield.
Took my dog around to visit some of her old friends.

 

No, I was coming in for the evening shift, I'm on shift from 2pm - 11pm.

I leave Statford at 12:30, allowing twice the normal driving time to get here.

Once I make it into Stamford, I usually stop at Donut Delight to get a drink & a munchie, and maybe a newpaper, then I park just outside the gate and relax till 1:40, then I go on site.

Except on Fridays, on Friday's I gab a bite and head right in to the station. That allows one of the two day-shift guys to head out early ahead of traffic for the weekend.

 

Yea. I'm gonna go to sleep in 20 minutes or so. Geez. I'm feelin like Dave here goin to bed at 10:30...
