If work is slow tomorrow and Friday I will also take a crack at it. Do we have an updated map with peoples estimated locations? That would make identifying GTGs more central to the bulk of members. I may be able to maintain something like that but would need to info that Dave probably has on all the newest members.

Greg
See the thread on the combined GTG CT & Mass for the museum.

As for the map, Pete where did that one come from?

I want to locate a map similar the index map at the top left of MAGIC Geospatial Data Resources where I could add a number to the two for how many reside there, and on mouse over up pops their forum name and link.

Sort of like MapQuest does for loactions.

True, I have hand built a concise table of public information that would complete/complement the map.

I just took a map of CT that had the towns drawn in. Went to Paint. Added a big black dot for every member that resided in that town. Saved the file again. Then uploaded it to photobucket.

To update the map I over-wrote the old file with the new updated one. Then I deleted the old file and uploaded the new one with the EXACT same name. Then it showed up again in my post as the new file.

I'm Back. Don't know if I'm still a member or not. Truck museum in Southbury or Woodbury is pretty good. Went with the kids a couple months ago. Grabbed the paperwork to put my truck in there for a while. We'll see if that happens.
Gregg
I would be interested in a get together. Depends on llocation and date. Nice to see all these new people.

Greg - Take the lead on something Not too family orientated for March.

Greg's on three weeks of vacation beginning on Saturday Feb. 28th.

Lets decide by this coming Tuesday, March 3rd., that gives you guys the weekend to settle upon something.

Which I'll then find out when I log in on Monday March 2nd.

Thumbs up Okie - The New England Air Museum it is.

New England Air Museum at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks

Now lets work on a date.

They are open seven days a week from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

They have an Open Cockpit day on Sunday the 15th.

They have a Space Expo day on Sunday the 29th.

I suspect these are 'children' orientated based on the 'age group' info posted on that web page.

The museum has no special events posted for the other Sundays, nor any of the Saturdays.
