i just asked this question on the other forum about my other truck so might as well ask it about the ranger. what wheels do you gents think would look good on my truck. there are pics of it on my profile
cant go wrong with the classic cragar s/s. ive always like the "old school" alumminum slots, dont think there made anymore, the closest thing was the mickey thompson challenger wheels and theyve been discontinued for some time now. i have the "deer-paw" factory alloys on mine during the good weather months and run stock steel rims from a '01 jeep wrangler during the winter. ive thought about cragar s/s for mine, but being a 4x4 id need to leave the front hub caps off and i dont think it would look right like that.
I LIKE the ones you have-I'll take them off your hands if you don't want them(if they're 15's)-I've got those slotted "mags"(1 large slot, 1 small round hole, all the way around) from the factory, and they were pitted when I bought the truck as the clear coat was peeling off..Been looking for some factory "Argent" wheels, with the trim ring, and center cap,(don't want to pay BIG money for this) as the winters and salt are brutal in the Chicago area, and I can paint these to touch them up..Cragars are always a nice choice....
personally i dont like a lowered truck, even a 2wd id either leave at stock height or give it a 2" lift. but thats just me. heck, id give the taurus a lift if i could.
