yet another VIN decode request...1963
just picked up this jewel and would like to see if any one can tell me the skinny on this truck.
any help would be greatly appreciated so i can get headed in the right direction.

I pull the info directly from my year specific ford shop manuals. They are invaluable reference when working on the trucks and general knowledge of what is in them.
For 63 you need a 61 100 to 800 shop manual and the 62 63 100 to 800 supplement.
They are available on disc reasonably cheap and are generally more accurate than a Motors or Chilton.

The 1957/63 Ford Truck Parts Catalog also decodes VIN's and is available on a CD from hipoparts.com.
