Obd-III?

Obd-III?
Anybody know the status on the new computer and will it entail all that I last read that it would entail? Such as transponders to police traffic violations etc(if that passes, which if it does I give up of course with democrats in control who knows).

The only noise I can find with a cursory Google search is noise to the effect that emissions control failures can be reported via wireless link, but nothing more.

Seems that not much has been done lately with it... Apparently while the technical issues are largely solved, the legal issues are just beginning...
