---(any experience with them would be helpful too)
i have a set of 17x10 wheels now but SS recommends a 14" wide rim
anyone know were to find a set of 17x14 rims for 8 lug
or if my 17x 10 would work or be pullin the sidewalls in to much
---- they get aired down (10-20 psi)
What style of wheel are you looking for? You looking for some "bling" or are you looking for a functional wheel? There is a difference.
Several manufacturers make a wheel in the 17X12.5" range which is probably where you should stay. The 10" wide wheel will make the tread surface too round, and will kill any chances of this tires lasting on the road. While bead retention would be better, the tread surace would become very distorted. For the sand, the wider wheel will make a wider surface area and provide greater floatation. Too wide a wheel and the beads try to come off.
I believe the 12" wide wheel woud be a better choice and this should open up a veriety of choices.
i was thinking along the same thing with it roundin out to much,
--- lookin for polished or chrome but not with a big price tag
---all i was findin were 17x9-10, any links to try?
