for sale? or custom?

I see alot of trucks with the custom gauge panels and was wondering? Are they all custom made or can you buy them? I am looking for one to put the round autometer gauges in but would rather buy one then make one.

if you did something like that, i would personally use something like diamond plate or stainless, just to give a little shiny contrast to your dash

just my $.02

You'll have to cut it to size and use a hole saw for the holes. You can cover the plate with masking tape or something while you cut the holes to avoid scratching

I've seen a guy do this before, but BEHIND the clear plastic and it was very, very, sexy indeed. Even tinted the clear lens to match his trucks color.

The bezels of the guages ussually stick out a little farther than the cup, so they may cover up most of your scratches if you have any. And make one out of cardboard first for test fitment, the old measure twice, cut once...

You can buy a prefab gauge panel for the round gauges it is kind of spendy because its 1/4 aluminum then polished I found mine from a sponsor on here it bolts right in.

1) cover the cutting area with masking tape to protect it
2) drill from the backside. that way if you screw up the masking tape and make a scratch you will never see it.

in the picture, im not sure, but it almost looks like after the hole was cut they pushed one of those dimple dies through. not too sure, but just goin by what i can see. or if you have a steady hand, or a weldin shop near, can always cut it out with a plasma cutter

T thought that too, or maybey something fiberglassed, but looking really close you can see its just a reflection from the guage bezels.

I had my holes cut out at a machine shop. They made it look easy, and they didn't want to charge me cause they did it so fast......saved me hours!!
