EGT question

I just purchased some new tunes from innovative. I love them but I did notice a rise in my EGT's. I wanted to know at what temp should I back off this thing. I've heard 1500-1800 but that was from a dmax guy...I just don't want to turn this thing into metal shavings and a pile of goo so any input would be great.......thanks

I don't keep mine above 1250 for more than a few seconds.

Ditto! In fact, I seldom let it hit 1200. Having pre and post turbo EGT guages it's easier to see when things are 'sustaining' heat. After 1200 (pre), post turbo temps seem to stay higher longer.
