I am currently in the market for new tires for my 2006 F-150 4x4. I have the 18" FX4 rims with 275/65R18. Does anyone know what the maximum size tire I can put on the truck. I am looking for a more aggresive look.
Also, does anyone have any opinions on the BF Mud Terrains?
I'm getting new shoes saturday. Firestone has a deal with 35% off. Getting four Firestone Destination LE 265/60/18 installed for 415.16. Regular price was 610.34. $100 bucks a tire installed for an 18" tire is a killer deal.
Sale ends tommorow. Firestone and Bridgestone tires.
without a leveling kit I believe a 285/65/18 is the biggest you can go. I put some BFG All Terrains in this size on my truck and they improved the looks alot, and they are a way better tire than the stock Rugged Trails that were on it. They are a little spendy though, the cheapest I could find them was $1257.18 installed.
I had 3 sets of Mud Terrains...and by far i think they were the best off road tire on the market (no including things like boggers and swampers).....they were also quiet nice on the road...got me about 35,000 miles on each set...
