You're probably thinking of the conversion usually done to the 240/300 six. This is actually usually done (eventually I hope to convert my 300) so screw-in rocker studs can be used as opposed to the press-in style.
The 215/223/262 engines have shaft-mounted rocker arms & the above conversion is not possible. I belive there might be higher-lift rocker arms avalible for the 223, but I'm not totally sure. Rocker arms for the Y-block V8s might work, but I'm not sure so don't quote me on that! Keep in mind that having higher lift rocker arms is kinda "cheating" instead of installing a higher lift cam. There are other cams avalible for these engines.

ther are high ratio rockers available for the ford 223 inline 6. the only place i have found them is ebay and you kinda have to be patient.
