That's a good question! I have not yet seen any numbers, real or marketing hype, comparing the aftermarket Y's to the '99 ramshorn... If you look up under there and compare yours to a 2000+ restrictomatic pipe, you'll see you got the good 'un!
Personally, I don't see how it can be much of any improvement. A couple hp maybe? Unless there are major restrictions inside the ramshorn?
I'm wondering the same thing. When I was looking over the underside of the F250 V10 that I now own the one thing that caught my attention was the y pipe that looked like it belonged on a Taurus.
