What do you mean by Flowmaster One Chamber? Typically there are 3 chambers in a Flowmaster exhaust. There is the Power Chamber (in front), the Balance Chamber (mid-section) and the Scavenging Chamber (rear). Then you've got your Delta Flow, which is a triple wedge set up in the mid-section, designed to reduce the sound level a bit, while retaining the same tone.

HE is talking about the flowmaster race muffler they are one chamber mufflers with hardly and restriction. Flowmaster also made a two chamber muffler which you can now only by in the delta series. I have the 2 chamber(40 series) on my truck w/o delta. But to anser your question, The single camber flows will be louder and deeper than glass packs. My 2 cents glass packs sound like crap and those big tips are nonsece pices of crap. They do not sound good, it is just a cheap way to make a lot of noise. Buy the flows and you will be much happier.

You must have an old 2 chambered Flowmaster 40 then. The 40 series are the street/strip original Flowmaster sound, and they are offered in classic or Delta Flow technology, and both are triple chambered:

(note the three chambers shown)

The other "race" muffler produced by Flowmaster is the Scavenger series used on sprint cars. They mount right behind the collector pipe from the header, and turn downs are offered for them. Those are single chambered mufflers, but I don't think you want them, they are very loud and designed for track use:

There are other race mufflers from Flowmaster but these are the Delta Force Mufflers, made using the same design as the Delta Flow triple wedge design. But those are made to handle 1000 or more horses, and I highly doubt your truck has even anywhere half of that, that's going overboard. That system uses a 30 series Delta Force race muffler, which is still a triple chambered, triple wedge design muffler. I have the 30 series top ten, not Delta Force, and that thing is loud as all heck:

this is the cutaway of the race muffler, the 30 series Delta Force with Delta Flow technology (still has the three chambers)

And this is what the setup looks like
