Pyrometer/egt kit

Were is the best place to weld the fitting for the prob? I have the truck apart for head gaskets so getting at a part is no problem.

No need to weld it, its tricky to weld mild steel to cast iron. Its thick enough just drill and tap it.

ew thanks didn't read the weld part. Definitely don't weld it

I was thinking the prob went on exhaust side of the turbo or down pipe. The prob does go on the manifold and it will get drilled and tapped.
