replacing cam

ive got 390 that i am rebuilding for the first time and need some advice on picking a new cam. i plan on using the truck for street driving only and some light towing. my question is what are some good brand names i should look at and how big should i go with the uses i have planned for it? also i will be replacing the lifters and push rods, so do i need to replace the rockers or will i be alright using the stock ones.

thanks for your time

Survival Camshafts plenty cam and will work fine with OEM parts, NEW springs should be considered a must.

Always replace your lifters when changing cams but if you only remove the cam and then install again, even in the same engine you could reuse the lifters IF you keep them in order as they were originally used. Lifters and cams have a break in and mating affinity and if they are mixed up they will probably fail shortly after start up and waste the cam lobe(s). Always inspect the lifters and cam lobes before installing and if there is any sign of pitting on the cam lobe or lifter do not use it, Unless you like doing the job over.
