bed swap question
Can anyone advise if the 6 1/2 foot bed can be swapped out for a long (8ft) bed on the 2004 F150 SC??

I don't think so, the wheelbase between the 6.5 & 8ft box models is different so nothing between the chassis and box would line up.

it will probably bolt up, but then you'll have abou a 2' gap between the bed and the cab

What about the 5.5 to 6.5
Does anyone know if you can take a 5.5 off and put a 6.5 on. I have a super crew FX4

I would have to say no. The bed length differences are from the wheel wells forward.
