4wd Questions

Playing in the snow tonight in 4 high and I accelerated forward and the whole truck kinda shuddered like I hit a patch of wash bed on a gravel road.

Is this normal?

Also, when breaking the front end makes a grinding noise. Normal?

I'm gonna go in and double check the fluids in the morning.

Thanks alot fellas.

Sounds like you need brakes if they grind when you hit them.

As for the clunk you might have been on ice and depending on how heavy you were into it when it caught the dry stuff it will clunk and that is something I wouldn't make a habit of doing. Just my .02

I think the shudder is caused by wheel hop, mine will do it in the snow too. The grinding would be most concerning to me... check that out ASAP.
