Is there anywhere besides maybe Ford dealer or a junkyard to get a replacement fuse panel for a 1980 F150? The problem I am having is the tab that holds the wire from the fuse box to the blower motor in my truck is broken and the wire is falling out. I have no heater and in PA that is a big problem! I turned the fuse panel around and there is no where to re locate the circuit on it so I either have to wire it in a different way ( I really don't want to do this) or find another fuse panel. Painless has a nice one but its $130 and I could not find one on LMC or Broncograveyard. Any suggestions on the panel or wiring problem would be greatly appreciated.
I was planning on doing that possibly as a short term solution. I would also like to have it wired in correctly at some point. I was thinking about using a 30amp fuse. Do you think that is too much? Thanks for the reply.
I wish that were true. Around here they have crushed and disposed of all cars and trucks more then 15 years old. The closest thing I would be able to come up with would be from a mid to late 90's truck and I don't think they are the same. Plus most junk yards around here would not sell only the box. They would insist on me buying the whole harness. I will look into it though. Thanks again.
