There is a sensor behind the upper radiator hose neck with two prongs on it.
Actually mine has only one prong on it and it is bent over 90*. Needless to say it's not plugged in.

Isn't that the temp switch for the high idle and timing advance?

I kind of thought that might be it when I looked at it and saw where the wires led to.
Then I thought back and realized that this truck doesn't do the high-idle that my '94 does.
Plus I couldn't think of any other sensor that would basically have no efect on the starting and running of the engine.
Should I get this sensor from Ford or will anybody else have one just as good. The local ford dealer's prices SUCK even with my Dad's shop's discount.
