first meet

how about some imput regarding the new chapters first meet?? this was a monumental problem with the old chapter,as people just didnt want to travel to meets.always meeting in the same place became boring, and eventually led to the death of the first chapter.i found that monthly meets at different locations works best, with an ocassional sunday breakfast somewhere central,so no one complains about always having to go far to gtg

Anyone want to volunteer to put together a map of where everyone is? That would make it easier to get a centralized location.

The black dots represent where members are. I used the introduction thread as my database so anyone who has their town in their location or in their post there is on that map. If I couldn't find your exact town (ie: Matt) I put your dot in your approximate location. Someone said the northwest corner of the state so I put their dot up in the Northwest corner. Once they give me a town name I can fix it.

Great effort there Pete:

I too have been keeping tabs on who has confessed, or otherwise revealed, where they live, but I didn't go so far as to map them out.

Can we do that, but PLEASE wait another 2 months? I'd LOVE to go, but I don't have my license for another 2 months or so. I've got to wait til at least March 3, but I don't know how long it will take to get my appointment at DMV and if I get the uptight woman I might have to take the on-road again...

If we could schedule that for some time during April that would rock. Provided nothing major comes up that prevents me getting my license I will be there for sure if it's scheduled for April.
