I added the Derby car show to the list, thanks Bill.

Lets keep scratching our heads for something this February.

Granted I will not be in state this Saturday the seventh, but that should stop any of you from meeting up one on one.

Asking dad about the shop is out of the question for a little while longer. Turns out that when he fell last week he broke is leg. He's in a cast-boot and hobbling around on crutches now. It's probably just as well since the shop is always locked unless we're there and I wouldn't want to bug someone to bring me for a lil GTG.

Ken:

As you know, GTG's likely will come down to be a core group of individuals getting together on a regular basis.

At this time I think the CT Chapter to too young to have developed that core group of individuals.

Most of the posts have pointed to the Spring.

Yes indeed Dave...you're absolutely correct. My point is that someone has to do it...set a time and place...post it...those who can make it...will...those who can't...won't. You can't please all of the people all of the time...and will drive yourself crazy trying.

This is not meant as criticism...just advice!!! Use it as you see fit.

Two more classes (3 and the one I just found out about... 15) plus 2 more onroads.

Next Wednesday is class 3 and an onroad. That makes for one more of each after next Wednesday. Then my test and I'll be good to go!

After that you can count on me to be at some GTGs.

Who is Scuba Diver certified, besides me?

Just a thought for a GTG.

I could overhaul all my gear and start exercising again for the coming Summer.

Though when I was diving, it was mostly in the Winter season as that's when I seem to have the most time available.

Some might say Brrrrrr, but eh you dress for it, not much different than snowmobilers and the windchill they dress for.

I might be able to pull that off. How much does it cost for me to beat you at go-kart racing?

Dave I dive also (NAUI). I got certified back when I was 12 (a long time ago ) but I have not had my gear on in about 14 years do to my crazy life sometimes.

***** D's is a blast. I've been. Those things move pretty darn quick. It's not cheap though.

That's another thing I'd wait for slightly warmer weather on. They have to keep the doors open so everyone doesn't die of carbon monoxide poisoning so it can be a little cold whipping around in there.

Edit: Just realized it was On-Track Carting not ***** D's that I went do. About the same though. On-Track has a bigger building than ***** D's.
