Bad EGR cooler?

Bad EGR cooler?
Last night on the way home my truck started running hot so I had it towed to the dealer, they looked at it and said maybe a bad egr cooler as it is pumping coolant out the exhaust. They said 3 days to trouble shoot and fix... saying they have to go through ford protocol.. Whats the deal with that, In 3 days I could dismantal the whole truck..I need this truck for this storm.. To add to this my 97 460 had a spark plug rot off and the garage broke a ez out off in the hole and they have no time before the storm to play with it so I will have to do that so I can have 2 trucks to plow with...
