Was bord today and pulled the codes on my dads 94 F250 4x4 351 and E4OD. The motor I believe has somewhere close to 90k on it and the tranny was rebuilt about 3 years ago. the truck threw 3 codes in the KOEO test: 116-ECT out of self test range 0.3 to 3.7 volts. 626-Coast clutch solenoid circuit failure (E4OD) 114-ACT out of self test range 0.3 to 3.7 volts.
What im worried about is the 626. I really dont know if any of these codes are bad, but the 626 def seems like something to look into further. Any ideas on any of these codes. Also, I dont think he is even getting above 10mpg on the highway. Maybe 8-9 in the city. We changed the plugs and wires, dist cap and rotor last summer. Motorcraft coppers with new wires. Havent canged to a new O2 yet, but when I get all these codes handled, that'll be my next headache. Here are the specs all together:
