4.9L, suggestions??

I'm wanting to make my truck sound deeper and throatier, because I've got a slight exhaust leak, and figured now would be a good time to upgrade. I'm looking for a good way to do it for cheap, anyone have suggestions??

The best sounding exhaust on a 300 6 is to knock out the rear cat or of cut it off and put a pipe in place of it. Then cut off the muffler and put a piece of pipe in place or that. On my 300 i had a knocked out rear cat, a Y pipe with dual straight pipes and chrome 22X 31\2 chrome angle cut tips out the back. It sounded real good. It had a nice deep tone and did not sound like a six at all.
